With a successful core business of exporting canned products, Seaspimex laid out plans of branching out to the local market. Because of this, they needed to steer clear of the generic packaging that they were using and had to find a solution to standardize the packaging and labeling system they had for their entire product line. They wanted to impart to the local market the value of their products as being delicious, high quality and safe.
Attention Vietnam conducted market research and focus group discussions in order to create the best strategy for their new brand. We also developed several names for the new brand and conducted focus group discussions. The name that fared well with the target market was Foody because it was easy to read, visualize and remember.
With the new direction at hand, Attention Vietnam created a packaging design master layout that highlighted the new Foody brand name and juxtaposed it with a prominently green background. This element, along with product shots of fresh produce create a fresh, delicious and organic image which is 100% consistent with their brand’s value of having top quality products.
