Cochlear × Attention
A NEW FOCUS ON DESIGN
In response to an increasing focus on design and aesthetics from users of hearing aids, Cochlear partnered up with Attention to update the design of their Baha bone anchored sound processors. The brief was as human as it was technical: create a device people connect with, not one they hide.

RESEARCH-LED, ENGINEERING-DEEP
Extensive user research, pioneering design and technical expertise all came together in the process. We studied how people live with their device day to day — how it feels, how it is worn, how it is perceived — and let those insights drive every decision, from silhouette and finish to the smallest control.

THE BAHA 5 SOUND PROCESSOR
The result is the innovative Baha 5 Sound Processor — refined, discreet and confidently designed — which was rewarded with a Red Dot Design Award. Guided by three principles — Dare. Care. Focus. — it proves that world-class industrial design and life-changing medical technology belong in the same object.
